By Car
We’re pleased to offer a large car park at the rear of the church, accessible via Bramston Road. In addition, you’ll find ample parking spaces in nearby residential roads. When parking on the street, we kindly ask all our visitors to please respect our neighbours by parking considerately and avoiding blocking driveways.
By Bus
St. James Road is well-served by local bus routes, making it easy to reach us by public transport. Local buses run frequently into Shirley High Street, which is roughly an 8-minute walk from the church. For up-to-date route and timetable information, we recommend checking the websites of local bus operators such as Bluestar or using journey planning apps like Moovit.

The nearest main train station is Southampton Central, which is about a mile north of the church. Southampton Central offers excellent connections across the country, including frequent services to London Waterloo, Winchester, Bournemouth, and many other major cities via operators like South Western Railway, Southern, Great Western Railway, and CrossCountry. From Southampton Central, you can easily catch a local bus or a short taxi ride to reach the church.

For those looking for an eco-friendly and flexible option, Voi electric scooters are available for hire across Southampton. You’ll often find Voi scooters available for pick-up and drop-off at the end of Upper Shirley Avenue, on St. James Road, and the church is visible from this stop, making it easy to find us. Download the Voi app to find nearby scooters and designated parking zones.
