A distinctive feature of the Methodist Church is church membership. This enables people to declare and work out their Christian commitment through the local Methodist Church here at SJR. If you haven’t been baptised and want to confirm the promises made at baptism by parents, then a service of confirmation can be held. You can also ‘transfer’ your membership either from another Methodist Church or another denomination.
All those who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and accept the obligation to serve Him in the life of the church and the world are welcome as full members of the Methodist Church.
